Western Cape

In Western Cape you find majestic mountains, farmlands set in valleys and long beaches. Inland you'll experience a wide-open landscape of the semi desert Karoo. The cold Atlantic Ocean and the warmer Indian Ocean meet on the coast of the Western Cape, a true phenomenon. The water is generally cold(er) in this area, so that you can plan for a close encounter with Great White Sharks.

Diving with white sharks is a main attraction and can be done at Cape Town, Mossel Bay or Gansbaai.
