On the outer edge of Europe is the smallest island of the Canaries, El Hierro, also known as 'the edge of the world’. Little tourists visit El Hierro so it is one of the most tranquil islands and ideal for hiking. For diving, El Hierro is an interesting destination. Due to its location it has warmer waters than to the other islands resulting in a tropical marine life and great visibility.

The Marine Reserve also has a variety of caves, arches and tunnels. During summer you might spot Manta rays, Tuna and yellow groupers.
