Miami & Southeast Florida

The (South) East Coast comes second as the most popular destination in the US, thanks to its more than 60 artificial reefs. This area mainly covers North Palm Beach to Ft. Lauderdale and then all the way down to Miami. There is good visibility and an abundance of marine life, including Goliath Groupers, Stingrays, Sharks, and Moray.

The Atlantic Ocean’s side of Florida is mainly known for its long coastline with its beaches. It has a variety of relaxed, budget-friendly coastal towns, but mostly upscale resorts in places like Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach and Boca Raton. The main cultural destinations on this strip are Cape Canaveral (Kennedy Space Center) and the metropolitan city Miami.
