The west coast is colder but has a magnificent marine life and kelp forest. You can dive with white sharks at Cape Town, Mossel Bay or Gansbaai. At the Western Cape there are a lot of reefs and wrecks you can see while diving. There are many options for diving with over 200 dive spots at 39 different dive sites. Most dive sites and spots you can find at Cape Peninsula and False Bay.

False Bay offers such a variety that you must visit it. Rocky terrain on the west and sandy bottoms on the east, both provides plenty of dive sites. You can see Kelp forests that house creatures such as Pyjama sharks, Leopard catsharks and Puffadder shysharks. The colorful corals will amaze you. You even can see a seal while you’re diving. If that’s not enough, you also can go wreck diving.
