Granada has a tropical climate: hot and humid in the rainy season and cooled by the trade winds in the dry season. The northeast trade winds almost give the island a constant temperature throughout the year.  Best time to visit Grenada is from January to April. The temperature in this period varies from 24°C to 29°C (75°F – 84°F). These are also the driest months with around 12 days of rainfall a month.

The rainy season is from June to November and has temperatures that are slightly higher than Summer (25°C/77°F to 30°C/86°F, but with almost twice the rainfall, averaging 22 days per month. This is also the Hurricane season, although this is not very significant compared to other islands in the Caribbean. Being on the southern edge of the hurricane belt, Grenada has only suffered from 3 hurricanes in the last 50 years (Janet in September 1955, Ivan in September, 2004, and Emily in July, 2005).
