The south of Cyprus is the most popular tourist area. Because of better accessibility it is more popular (and crowded) than the Northern coast. Diving is mostly concentrated Ayia-Napa, Paphos and Larnaca. The Zenobia is worth a trip alone and there are a few other interesting divespots, mostly around the Akamas Peninsula.

The towns of Pafos, Lemesos and the Coral Bay have countless resorts and hotels. The northern area of the island is more laid back with guesthouse type of accommodations and smaller and boutique hotels.
